Prison Ministry
The Johnsons served under the Gospel Fellowship Association (GFA) Mission Board for many years – first in Japan, then in South Korea, where they established the Bob Jones Memorial Bible Institute. Many seminary students have gone on to establish fundamental local churches in Korea. Two of their six grown children are now active in the work in Korea. The Johnsons retired in Greenville, SC, where they continued to serve in tract and correspondence course ministries to prisoners in US jails, while raising financial support for the Bible Institute. Gerry Johnson went to be with the Lord December 28, 2007. The tract and correspondence ministry is continued by Keith Ekburg.
